Sabrent 7-Port 20W Powered USB-C Hub Adds Switches

Sabrent has added a new USB Type-C hub with external power that we think is pretty cool because it has individual switches that can disconnect your devices without unplugging these.

All seven ports (three Type A, one Type-C) are rated at only 5Gb/s however, and since Sabrent didn’t even disclose the type of interface going back to the PC we’re just going to assume that it’s also 5Gb/s, as Sabrent would have disclosed anything greater as a feature.

The full 20W of power delivery is also available exclusively to the center port, with others providing only 4.5W. At least Sabrent added LEDs to let us know which devices were switched off. And if we still haven’t talked you out of buying it, you can…
