Asus Launches G22CH-series RTX 4070 Mini Gaming PCs

Complete Systems, News

Asus today announced the immediate availability of its latest mini gaming PCs, each variation equipped with the firm’s RTX 4070 Dual (dual-slot) 12GB graphics card. Though none of its promotional images nor even the manual make the presence of an actual desktop card clear, we did find clarity at Amazon…of all places.

Housed in an enclosure that’s only 11.3″ high and 4.5″ wide, the G22CH’s RTX4070 variations share nearly every component except the specific 13th-Gen Intel Core CPU model and memory configuration: Even though 2x32GB SODIMM kits have become a common upgrade for other compact systems, Asus confusingly reports that this motherboard supports only 32GB of total DDR5 memory at 16GB per slot.

We’ve reached out to Asus for clarification regarding the discrepancy between reported capacity limitations for this platform and its underlying hardware as well as the lack of internal component images, and are crossing our fingers in hopes for the opportunity to shoot those photos ourselves.
