Kingston Shrinks Its Gen4 NVMe SSD To 30mm
Introducing a shortened 2230 version of its NV3 SSD pits Kingston’s NV3 SSD against mobility market masters like Crucial (see its P310 in action) and Sabrent (with its Rocket 2230 NVMe 4.0). Already a well known quantity in the 2280 M.2 market, the low heat and power use of its tech should particularly suit compact devices such as netbooks, tablets and handheld gaming PCs.

The biggest restriction caused by the shrink is that the 2230 flavor has less thanhalf the space for NAND and is therefore limited to a max capacity of 2TB. That sounds like plenty to us!
