Lian Li Releases Reduced-Depth SUP-01 Mid-Tower

Lian Li today announced retail availability of its new reduced-footprint (15.9″-deep by 8.34″-wide) mid-tower (21″ high). Compact by current standards, the firm’s marketing strategy would have us forget that mid-towers used to be 18x18x8 inches. Unique to the design is that the firm used its extra 3″ of height to place two 360mm radiator mounts side-by-side behind the motherboard, rather than on the top panel. And, since putting radiators behind the motherboard pushed the motherboard chamber too close to the side to fit a large graphics card, the firm also added a remote graphics card mount to the back of the front panel.

Engineered with three distinct airflow chambers, each dedicated to essential components—GPU, CPU’s AIO, and motherboard. The SUP-01 positions the GPU at the center of the front panel on a fully adjustable bracket, and accommodates up to a 360 AIO behind the motherboard tray for enhanced cooling efficiency. A non-tinted tempered glass panel on the left side offers a clear view of the main chamber which supports up to regular ATX motherboards and ATX back-connect motherboards, and the PCIe riser bracket with built-in diffused LED strips.
